Hemlock Lake, a Recreation Community nestled in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania was established in 1956 and originally created as a summer vacation community.

The mission of the HLPOA is to protect, preserve and enhance the quality of Hemlock Lake and to preserve the waters and Dam.
The Department of Environmental Protection inspects the Dam annually.   

Community life circles around our 7 acre spring fed lake that is also a water supply to the Pohopoco Watershed and is an integral part of the water supply. 

The residents comprise of approximately 70 homes and members. 

The lakeside Community Pavilion is utilized for meetings, activities and is available for rent to the membership for events.

Hemlock Lake is a great place to fish, use a paddle or row boat or relax on the beach.

We are primarily maintained by a great group of volunteers.
